🇩🇪 Germany Takes the Lead in MiCA Licensing
Germany is strengthening its position as one of Europe’s leading jurisdictions for regulated digital-asset businesses.
According to the latest update of the EU MiCA register, Germany now has 79 authorised CASPs)— more than twice as many as France (35) and well ahead of the Netherlands (29). Six German cooperative banks were among the latest additions, while the total number of authorised CASPs across the EU reached 331.
🏦 What does this mean for the market?
The latest authorisations show that MiCA is increasingly becoming part of the traditional financial infrastructure, with banks themselves entering the regulated digital-asset market.
For businesses planning to operate in Europe, choosing the right MiCA jurisdiction is therefore becoming a strategic decision involving not only licensing, but also:
✔️ Business model & regulatory scope
✔️ Banking and payment infrastructure
✔️ AML/KYC/KYT compliance
✔️ Local substance and operational requirements
✔️ EU expansion strategy
We help businesses evaluate MiCA/CASP licensing options, select the appropriate jurisdiction and build the regulatory, banking, payment and compliance infrastructure required for operations.
