A clear scope.
A practical next step.

FinanceIQ Hub coordinates a business-specific legal opinion on the proposed activities of digital asset exchanges, custodial wallets, payment platforms and other financial services businesses. We review the existing registration or licence alongside your services, client locations, transaction flows and marketing plans, and help define the jurisdictions and legal questions for assessment by appropriately qualified counsel.

Know the scope before entering a market

A registration or licence in one country does not automatically permit every digital asset activity or unrestricted access to clients worldwide. An exchange, custody service and payment flow can raise different requirements. The opinion examines the specific company, services and jurisdictions you identify.

From your business model to written conclusions

We start with your corporate documents, current regulatory status and a description of the proposed services. The assessment considers customer location, solicitation and marketing channels, operational presence and relevant local rules. Where the project requires a jurisdiction-specific legal conclusion, the scope and responsible counsel are agreed before work begins.

What to prepare

Provide your company documents, regulator or register details, licence conditions where applicable, service descriptions, customer types, target countries, transaction diagrams and planned marketing channels.

Practical findings for your next decision

The deliverable can identify activities covered by the existing status, restrictions on serving particular markets, questions requiring local advice and additional registrations or authorisations to consider. Findings depend on the agreed scope, facts and law at the date of the opinion. A legal opinion does not replace regulatory approval or determine a bank or provider’s onboarding decision.

Common questions

Can an MSB or FMSB registration support worldwide operations?

The answer requires a review of the proposed services and each target market. FINTRAC registration is not a licence or a general permission to operate in other jurisdictions.

Can you assess exchange and wallet activities?

The scope can cover digital asset exchange, custody and related payment services, with the relevant jurisdictions and legal questions agreed for the project.

Will the opinion guarantee bank account approval?

No. It can help explain the business and regulatory analysis, but banks and payment providers make their own onboarding decisions.
